Built in 1679, The Folly is one of the Yorkshire Dales’ only Grade I listed buildings. It started life as a gentleman’s residence, but The Folly has also been a farm, a lodging house, a holiday let and even a fish and chip shop. The Folly was saved by North Craven Building Preservation Trust and is now home to the Museum of North Craven Life.
We worked closely with The Folly museum team to update their brand and create a new website with improved navigation and emphasis on what’s on both in the museum and online.
Maraid Design were absolutely brilliant to work with when we were re-launching our museum's website. They really listened to what we needed and were able to build a custom template that did everything we wanted it to, and they had lots of ideas for streamlining and improving the navigation (a real bugbear of ours with our old site). Jane and Richard were always very professional and easy to work with. Although we are not computer experts ourselves, they always took the time to explain to us what they meant and didn't try to blind us with jargon. We will absolutely look to work with them again in the future if we need further web updates.
