Watch What Matters
International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC)
The International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) is a global activist organisation that leads the Make Medicines Affordable partnership. Their aim is to make sure that all people living with HIV have access to the right treatment. We have worked with them since 2015 to develop three multilingual websites in collaboration with a number of partnership organisations.
Watch What Matters represents the work of two major initiatives: the Regional Community Treatment Observatory in West Africa, and Missing the Target. These projects work with 11 West African countries to gather data and hold national governments and global agencies accountable to their commitments to HIV treatment.
Know your Viral Load is aimed at people across Africa living with HIV. The site has two clear calls to action: demand a viral load test, and demand testing in countries where it isn’t available. Working with 11 partner countries across Africa, it was critical that the site was easy to navigate and engaging for users as viral load testing is proven to save lives.
Similarly, Make Medicines Affordable represents the work of two major initiatives looking to bring down the cost of HIV drugs internationally. This multilingual site was developed to bring together the work of 15 global partner organisations and is used to inform and influence for change, potentially resulting in the treatment of a further 130,000 people living with HIV.
We were thrilled to be asked to play an important role in delivering these vital initiatives and even more pleased that, even with multiple partners involved all over the world, the projects ran smoothly from start to finish.
We have worked with Maraid Design on several projects now and every time they deliver beyond belief. They seem to intuitively understand what you need and make the entire process - from concept to realisation - delightfully painless. They are responsive and reliable - always able to make deadlines, even when there are delays on our end. They go beyond the call of duty and give advice on how to improve the content of our site to best suit our audiences. I will continue to go to them for our website development and design needs.
