Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2013, York
Another great year for Aesthetica Short Film Festival. I went for the three day weekend pass this year and still there was so much I didn’t see! I enjoyed a lot of the comedy and drama and caught a little bit of animation and thrillers but it’s still the documentaries I like most. I was also impressed by the high quality of the British entries. Some of my favourites from 2013…
- Who is Gilbert Prousch? – Nora Ganthaler, UK/Italy
- The Pledge for Mr Bunny – Kevin Lim, Australia
- Shakespeare’s Wart – Jonathan Kydd, UK
- Unravel – Meghna Gupta, UK
- The Port – Rory Alexander Stewart, UK
- Danger Overhead Powerlines – Mia Mullarkey, Ireland
- No Ordinary Passenger – Cabell Hopkins, UK
- Rosemary Jane – Carolina Petro, UK
- Újratervezés – Barnabas Toth, Hungary
- Still here – Yeah Yeah Creative, USA
- Alles Super! – Ralf Beyerle, Germany
