Ritz Cafe, Millport
As Formica celebrates it’s 100 year anniversary it was perfect timing to visit the Ritz Cafe in Millport.
Millport is on the Isle of Cumbrae a quick ferry ride from Largs on the Ayrshire Coast, Scotland. A pretty seaside town on an island only a few miles long, perfect to explore by bike (bikes rule here). A visit to Millport would not be complete without a cuppa at the Ritz Cafe, a colourful explosion of 1960’s formica. I loved it so much I didn’t want to leave.
Thanks to Anne at Nothing to See Here for the tip and Peter Byrne for the photography.
