Wes Anderson: The Archives at the Design Museum London
In the modern world, there are few certainties any more, but they do still exist: rain is wet, food is yummy, and Wes Anderson films make you happy.
With this in mind, a lot of people have got excited about the Wes Anderson: The Archives exhibition that opened at London’s Design Museum in November. As an early Christmas treat, I headed down from sunny Bradford to go and have a looky, and it was an absolute joy.
I wandered around the space looking at the pre-production artefacts and various props from his filmography presented in chronological order, and I realised the whole time I had a grin on my face. The ephemera on display was better than I expected, but the curation and presentation were really a pleasant surprise that made the experience truly special.
The exhibition runs until July 2026, so don’t miss this visual gem.
