Culture for Climate Scotland believes in the essential role of the arts, screen, cultural, and creative industries in contributing to transformative change towards a more environmentally sustainable Scotland. They work directly with individuals, organisations, and strategic bodies across the cultural and sustainability sectors to harness culture’s role in achieving this change. Through their work, events, and projects, they combine strategic expertise and consultancy with bespoke carbon management training and guidance alongside a range of programmes that support the development of artistic practices addressing sustainability and climate change.

As with all our sites, we focused on sustainability and accessibility from the outset of the process. We collaborated closely with the Culture for Climate team to deliver a thoughtful user experience and clear information architecture, enabling visitors to find information and complete tasks as quickly as possible. We crafted bespoke web design and development from the ground up. Our streamlined, clean code and optimised images ensure low site load and fast speeds. The website underwent rigorous testing to ensure it was accessible to everyone, including visitors with assistive technology.

We are delighted that the website scores A+ on Website Carbon Calculator. The site is cleaner than 92% of all web pages globally.
