The Touring Network – Highlands & Islands
The Touring Network supports people across the Highlands and Islands to bring high-quality live performances to their own communities, and in doing so helps make these communities more vibrant places to live, work and visit. The network is made up of members that range from volunteer promoters, village hall committees, pub landlords, school teachers, and professional programmers, to theatre makers and producers, dance artists, musicians, agents and about-to-hit-the-road performers.
Members can sign up and manage their accounts online. Member data is synchronised from WordPress to The Touring Network CRM. Members can add events via DataThistle, which are then fed into the website via an API. The website is very easy to update, freeing up time for the team to provide more support to their members.
