Manchester Jewish Museum
I’ve been keen to visit the Manchester Jewish Museum since it reopened in July 2021. It was closed to allow for a new extension that doubled its original size.
The extension designed by Citizens Design Bureau is visually impressive and contains the new Journeys gallery that shows how people found their way to Manchester and made it their home.
The space is a joy to explore with interesting interpretation and appealing interactives that make a complex history engaging. It is rich in recorded oral histories that brought the human side of the story to life.
