Old Scottish bricks
This summer I’ve been renovating my house and garden. Although I miss travelling, I’ve discovered interesting design, typography, and history everywhere. While clearing an old coal shed and piles of rubble, I collected some interesting bricks. A bit of internet research later and I discovered how many local brickworks there were on the southside of Glasgow and beyond. Thanks to the Scottish Brick History website, they also have a museum, so that’s my next holiday sorted! Also a nice story about brick collecting.
